At Orange Villas Home Care, care comes first.
From the start in the morning our caregivers are up and starting to prep for breakfast, helping the residents that needs help getting up and getting getting clothed, or bathed if needed, cleaning the rooms, getting clothing and bed materials washed & dried, and back to their rooms. But, whats more important, is when your loved one lives here, we try and notice the things that just may make a difference.
"It seems that this resident is sleeping too much, maybe we need to speak with the son or daughter, or who makes the decisions for this resident so they can be re-evaluated by a doctor.
"John" seems to be walking parts of the home that are not normal for him, or "Mary" is having trouble sleeping at night. "Jane" seems to be upset and agitated lately. These are all issues that are usually stemmed from medication, the onset of dementia, or possibly a UTI (urinary tract infection) happening. While we are not doctors, noticing the little changes in a person becomes an important task. Many times these are the same things that family notices when they live with their loved one, thus it makes sense in this profession that we also notice the day to day differences in a persons actions.
It is important that we in the Residential Care business notice little changes that need to be passed on to the persons offspring or decision maker to further seek the attention they need.
Meals are cooked fresh daily.
